Training and Formation of Self-Help Groups for JISRA Intra-faith Indirect Stakeholders in Kwanan Soja Community.
The goal of this initiative is to promote intra-faith harmony, build the capacity of stakeholders for economic growth and sustainability, encourage the conscious practice of savings, and improve livelihoods within the community.
On Wednesday, November 13, 2024, the Nargarta Village Savings and Loans Association (NVSLA) group, an intra-faith indirect stakeholder of JISRA/RURCON, conducted its weekly meeting at Kwanan Soja Mosque, Jos, Plateau State.
A total of 20 people attended the meeting, consisting of 17 women (85%) and 3 men (15%). During the meeting, members purchased shares, and social funds were collected to support welfare and sustainability efforts. One member was also able to access a loan.
Special thanks to Tearfund Nigeria and RURCON.
God bless you all.
