Training and Formation of Self-Help Groups for JISRA Intra-faith Direct Stakeholders in Kwanan Soja Community
Following the training and formation of self-help groups, JISRA aims to promote intra-faith harmony, build stakeholders’ capacity for economic growth and sustainability, encourage regular saving practices, and improve livelihoods within the Kwanan Soja community.
On Tuesday, November 12, 2024, the Kwanan Soja Village Savings and Loans Association (KSVSLA) group, representing JISRA/RURCON intra-faith direct stakeholders, held their weekly meeting at Kwanan Soja Mosque, Jos, Plateau State.
The meeting was attended by 19 people, with 8 women (42%) and 11 men (58%) present. Members purchased shares, and social funds were collected to support welfare and sustainability initiatives. Two members successfully accessed loans during the meeting.
Special thanks to Tearfund Nigeria and RURCON for their ongoing support.
