Rurcon JISRA hald a one-day Refresher training on Village savings and loan association for Muslim intra-faith group from Kwana soja, Jos North LGA plateau state. Was conducted on 25th February, 2025. At Good Life conference hall hotel, Jos.
The workshop aimed to assess success and challenges in Village Savings and Loans and draft a joint business
The training engaged the participants in an avenue where they interacted and brainstorm on their successes, challenges, constitutions and financial records.
The basic concept of VSLA was also reviewed and how to promote and initiate a business venture for harmony and social cohesion in the community.
A total number of 17 members were in attendance with 10 males (58%) and 7 female(42%), Facilitator and Rurcon staff.
