RURCIN, in collaboration with JPRM, conducted a one-day Interfaith Exchange Learning activity for JISRA stakeholders from Kwanan Soja, Zaruma, Angwan Jarawa & Sabon Layi communities on the 20th of November 2024 at the Good Life Hotel Hall, Jos North LGA of Plateau State.
The aim was to foster mutual understanding, respect, and cooperation between the two communities through sharing of experiences, traditions, and best practices.
The visit aims to promote peaceful coexistence, social cohesion, and collaborative efforts on issues affecting faith communities. This will also help foster interfaith harmony across different groups.
At the end of the meeting, communities came up with joint community initiatives/action plans to promote peaceful coexistence in their communities. Thirty Seven (37) persons were in attendance; 16 females (53%), 14 males (47%), 5 Rurcon staff, and 2 JPRM staff.
Thanks to Tearfund-Nigeria RURCON & JPRM and the JIRSA project communities for their support.
